So let’s face it almost every single one of your guest is certain to see at least one room in your house THE POWDER ROOM! With that being said the powder room is your opportunity to be impactful, dramatic, and playful while always pushing the boundaries of design.

I mean why not?! Just go there, have fun, and let your imagination run wild! When I am working with a client I always describe the powder room like being the jewel box of your house. This is a true moment where you can really exaggerate texture, color, scale, and elements you might not other wise have put together.

What I am about to tell you is my number go to design tip for a drama filled powder room…Invest in the most stylish and beautiful faucet! Everyone is going touch and feel this element. Therefore the faucet should be a solid substantial part of the whole theme.

GO BIG OR GO HOME IN A SMALL POWDER ROOM TIP #2:

Artwork is not often thought about when planning your powder room! However, it can be a great accent and addition to your overall scheme. It’s the perfect moment for someone to appreciate a piece or two or several up close and personal in the most intimate space of the your home!

GO BIG OR GO HOME IN A SMALL POWDER ROOM TIP #3:

Lighting and a good mirror are a must! Depending on the feel and concept of the space, you can’t go wrong with a chandelier and/or a pair of amazing sconces. Really go for it and hang a mirror and lighting fixtures that might not be 100% practical in a powder room!

Last but definitely not least COLOR COLOR COLOR! BE BOLD with color. Let the space come alive through a dramatic splash of color. There are countless ways that this impact can be achieved!
